Dear Friends, It’s that time again…and since the last Friends’ Newsletter it’s been all change at The Peter Potter Gallery…
Old Trustees - New Trustees On 11th November at a small gathering of Trustees, Staff and Volunteers bade a fond farewell to Trustees’ Chairman, Sarah Donaldson and Treasurer, John Anderson. As leaving presents both were given paintings (naturally from PPG artists!) – Sarah, an oil by Patti Yuill and John a watercolour by Ken Lochhead. Four new Trustees were appointed and welcomed at the monthly meeting on 28th November: Linda Rodgers, Jim Shearer, Ettie Spencer and Giles Sutherland. Linda has a background in management consultancy and will act as interim Chair while Jim, whose experience is in accountancy, will be the new Treasurer. Ettie is a talented professional artist whose work was shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2001 – her work explores the relationship between the man-made and natural environments. Giles is an art critic and writer and is currently a part-time teaching fellow at Dundee University and a contributor to the Times Literary Supplement.
