They are always happy to hear from you through the gallery with ideas and suggestions for the continued success of the gallery.

Established in 1976 by Peter Potter and Tom Criddle, prominent figures nationally in the theatre,
opera and art world at that time, it continues to follow the objective of its founders to 'increase the knowledge,
understanding, practice and enjoyment of art.'
After the untimely death of Peter Potter in 1982, the Gallery has been run by the Peter Potter Charitable Trust, playing a significant role in the artistic and cultural life of East Lothian, Haddington in particular. It gives priority to exhibiting work of professional artists and crafts people, both local and from further afield, whilst devoting some exhibitions to the work of talented amateurs and provides exhibition space for this purpose in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. |
